Review these simple steps to successfully complete your mock exams and view your scorecards.
1. How to Sign In and Access Tests View Details
Click the Sign In button in the header or the Get Started Now button on the Home page. Authenticate securely using your Google account. Once signed in, you will be automatically redirected to your candidate dashboard where available mock exams are loaded.
2. Starting a Mock Test & Webcam Rules View Details
On the dashboard, click Start Test on any available test. The system will prompt you for webcam access permission. Once granted, a live proctoring preview feed is rendered in the bottom-right corner of the exam portal to simulate online mock test conditions.
3. Navigating the Exam Portal (TCS iON Layout) View Details
The mock test workspace replicates the retro TCS iON exam desk:
- Section Navigation: Jump between subjects (PART-A General Intelligence, PART-B General Awareness, PART-C Quantitative Aptitude, and PART-D English Comprehension) via the horizontal tab headers.
- Question Palette: Track status using color badges: Gray (not visited), Red (unanswered), Green (saved answer), and Purple (marked for review).
- Zoom Adaptations: Adjust visual font sizing dynamically using the Zoom (+) and Zoom (-) top-row buttons.
4. Saving Answers & Final Scoring View Details
- Save & Next: Select an option and click Save & Next. You MUST do this to record your response; simple option clicking without saving will not count toward grading.
- Clear Response: Discards your selected option choice.
- Submit Test: Submits the test paper. The grading engine calculates your results instantly: +2.0 marks for each correct choice, and -0.5 marks penalty for wrong answers (standard negative marking format). Detailed score statistics and review accordions are accessible on the dashboard.
